It’s the ordinary things always get to me. The viking sock doesn’t prove all vikings wore them, but they exist. Nalbinding is the method used to make them. It’s an ‘endangered’ craft (not many people use it) but there’s a whole community of nalbinders on facebook. We’re still doing things they did 1000 years ago. Marvel and Netflix wouldn’t have their franchises without the Viking Gods and heros from those times. Still engaging audiences after so many centuries.
