So the Millenium Ring is referred to as the “ring of wisdom/知恵の輪” exactly once in the Yugioh manga, strangely in completely different chapters in the English and Japanese versions but both during Bakura’s first appearance:

And I dunno about you guys but wisdom is not a trait I really associate with that particular object? So it’s kinda weird?

Well, seeing the Japanese version finally prompted me to google 知恵の輪 last night. And it’s apparently the Japanese term for those puzzles where you have to untangle interlocking metal shapes??

Hey! Update on this! She’s doing MUCH better and I actually saw her live at PAX East this year (2022) - she gave a talk at a panel and answered questions and she was doing great, and she was telling us how she’s slowly relearned everything she forgot. Just to alleviate the worries I see in the notes 💖
