I happened to have some vintage hair saved in my stash that is a pretty close match that I’m gonna use to fill the sliced rows of hair on this doll. Bubblecuts are so coarse, I was worried about finding fun colored hair that I could convincingly blend in. I also did not know what I was going to do with so little hair but it also felt like it was too much to throw away, so this is a good solution.

Still wanna tuck some fun color in there though. Like a curl of coral or something, but less than filling all the spots that have been hacked off so it looks a little more integrated.

So, I have purchased exactly one new LOL OMG

and as soon as I touched the packet that holds the “surprises,” I recognized the material as something like Tyvek, which meant it could be sewn

and today I finally cut it up and made something from it

and of course I didn’t use a pattern

If anyone else wants to sew this stuff, you can use a regular needle, no need for a vinyl needle
