I love this page that’s just, “hey, let’s check in on what everyone is doing while they wait for the tournament to start!” and the answer is
Mai: Break out the vintage
Kaiba: Take off his coat (but not his duel disk?) so he can comfortably look at his cards and giggle to himself in an empty room
Rishid: Sit on the floor with all the lights off
Bakura: Remain unconscious and dead-eyed as either Marik or Yami Bakura puts steak in his mouth, presumably because one of them went “wait, shit, we have to feed this thing” like he’s a neglected tamagotchi they have joint custody of
Video games based on movies often go into production at the same time as the movie itself, so the game can come out when the movie does. This sometimes leads to early ideas that were cut from the finished film making it into the video game.
In the 16-bit generation ports of the Lion King video game, there is a strange part with no equivalent in the Lion King movie: the lava cave level. There is no lava cave in the Lion King, entered by adult Simba or otherwise, as the idea was cut from the finished film.
Originally, Disney instructed the designers to cut the lava cave level from the game. However, the designers of the video game argued successfully to keep the lava cave level, as they worked hard on it, and it looked and played impressively.
