I really hate this but please boost. The staining stuff is for sale in three places. I may have alienated the last place to buy hair for less than $20+ shipping and handling for a $3 hank but if it saves someone’s work from getting damaged or saves you the lost hours of a bad reroot, it’s worth it. If you’ve had any issues with doll/pony hair and staining, please share your experiences (photos or not) so people know what risks they’re taking.
For the record, it does not wash out of the hair: not with soap, alcohol or colorfasting sheets. All you can do is keep the hair tied away from the plastic and peroxide bleach the areas affected.
And yes I’ve already contacted the sellers. I got a refund for the most recent hair. I wouldn’t make this post if the items were pulled or had a warning.

Just to satisfy something that feels like I’m not just existing on a panic attack continum but actually doing things on some level - Finished a zine piece today, received general specs for another, got an almost thumbnail worked out for big bang
Have to to a commission thumbnail tomorrow, respond to two inquiry emails about commissions, maybe do a quick button commission, and ideally make big bang thumbnail less thumbnail
I just wanted to do nice fan community things and also get some money I didn’t feel bad about.
International buttons go out this week along with the yeti book which finally got the right shipping envelopes delivered! Domestic buttons also going out Per Usual, but the international folks usually have to wait for a bit because it is an endurance getting through them at the post office.
So there’s updates about as many things as I can think of to make updates about. If you are a person waiting on any one of those things there they all are they should be happening very sooner if not slightly later this week.
I also am not enjoying this but the spine leg Continuum is really trying to just fold me in half or something and it doesn’t work well for doing anything really! Just crunching up like a shrimp.
Anyway thanks for your patience if you are any of the people waiting for something from me, but feel free to check in and ask what’s going on - I will totally understand the urge to ask, though the answer is just “I am overwhelmed with more tasks of all kinds than I can humanly do with the abilities I have at my disposal at present, so everything is getting pushed way back” for pretty much everything.
