Some one had pizza in the break room the smell of it consumed me and now my pb and j is kind of blah.

man i really love it when i get enough sleep, it’s fucking magical

I just had the sudden flash of inspiration that I should make my grandmother start a youtube channel to record all her stories. 

This is the sci-fi fangirl nerd grandmother. The one who had a squee moment with me over Vir and who replaced the photo of my aunt in her living room with a giant James Marsters autograph.  The one who is going to her first con in September.  Her actual professions were Teacher, Story Teller, and like, professional church friend, so this woman has literally been paid to talk all her life.  (some of you are now understanding me better)  I feel like, with some adjusting for medium, she might do well.  

This was like a shower thought, only I had it while making a sandwich.  Still. 

In somewhat related news, I actually made some things for myself today that normally would have sent my shame meter off the charts, and I did so with only a sort of moderate level of pushing myself along.   

I resolved to never again say ‘self-indulgent’ like it was a bad thing when I made my SWANniversary thing the other week, and I kind of feel like it helped.
