Anonymous asked: What your coworkers have been doing is harassment and you are well within your rights to demand they treat you with respect. You're not a punching bag and they have no right to treat you as such. If asking them to stop will only escalate the situation, could you maybe speak to a supervisor about it?
This is one of those times where I was legit not sure if I was overreacting to what was going on, so it’s kind of nice to see that someone else thinks this is some high level fuckery. I was upset about being back here in the cold and empty and was not coping well, and I think all the things they did were legitimate attempts to cheer me up, freakishly enough. I’ll be able to talk with them like a human being about it tomorrow, but yesterday I would have burst into tears. I already had to have the ‘Can we please stop with the rampant casual sexism, thanks’ talk with a supervisor and district director, so the charming wack job shit goes all the way up the chain anyhow.
Thanks for the concern, though, anon! I’ll work it out with people next time it happens since I’ll be in a better brain place.
