Have you added a Dalek to your entourage, or is he borrowed?
He was purchased just to be G'Kar and Londo’s pal in this hideous adventure, to my great shame.
Time for sunshine, snacks, and weird pet Dalek!
This is my favorite Doctor Who-related photo.
Colin looks amazing in this. His hair is a little looser than we usually get to see it, and he looks amazing. There’s no vest to emphasize his waist line badly or bright red to blind anyone. He looks sweet and kind of beautiful. And then there’s Patrick Troughton, and we all know that his involvement in anything makes it amazing. You can see the age on him, and that sort of kills me and breaks my heart into tiny bits, but it still makes this lovely.
I love the colors, that they’re both in grey, I love the composition of this, the angles, the people in it, the calm sort of quiet about it, even though they’re rehearsing something as ridiculous as The Two Doctors, everything. The longer I look at this photo, the more I love it. It’s a lovely photo even if you don’t know what you’re looking at - when you know them, it’s even more fantastic.
Do you need some silly Deep Space Nine valentines? Yes, you do.
It’s like being in elementary school again.
A dorky Valentine for your Babylon 5 in February needs. Of all the things I’ve put in a pink heart, these two feel like one of the weirdest.
Done to match my DS9 set from two years ago, I was so struck with how well the “Where he goes, I go” line adapted to a Valentine while I was marinating in shipping hell that I had to make this. I’d like to make a whole set of B5 ones to match the DS9 set (and add to the original DS9 set even!), but I just don’t think I’ll have the time! So enjoy this one, at least!
We missed one of the panels we really wanted to see last night because we didn’t see that they’d rescheduled it!
But I did draw a cute tiny Jamie and Zoe while listening to a panel with Frazer, Wendy, and Carole Ann, so not all is lost, I suppose.
We met a lady in her 40s who heard me grumble about sexism in the Hard Sci-Fi panel who decided we were Her People, so we’re gonna see her again this morning at the panel about the doctor regenerating into a woman. The whovianfeminism meetup is also today, looking forward to that~
