More of this ridiculous nonsense, in a formal easier to process, and now with Delenn!

I gave G'Kar a trenchcoat with some stitching to do some echoing of his big coat in design as well as silhouette. Put a little eyeball pin on the coat, largely as a joke, but to give him just a bit more interest. I like the suspenders on him, but I think I definitely want to put him in vest like this at some point, just so he has more call backs to his super elaborate armor.

On the silhouette front, Londo is much easier than everyone. As much as I fucking love his boots, they don’t quite go with even this vague an aesthetic, so ridiculous pinstripes it is. I had to tone down his colors so he didn’t stick out so much that he no longer fit within the thing as a whole, but it’s not dramatic and he’s still clearly the ridiculous one, so I’m down.

Delenn’s gonna run the joint, annnnnd we were all pretty jazzed about the idea, so she’s in a suit. I tried to echo the colors and some of the shape of the dress she’s most often in, though. I prefer her initial look with the hair, so I used that here.

I thought I’d try to draw Kosh too, but then I thought that the people there probably literally just think he’s a fancy lamp or jukebox. So this is our Not!Ambassdors for now.

There was probably more to say, but wow, I have already expended like 300% more energy on this than I expected to, haha.

If someone wanted to write an informational text about the Two/Jamie fandom they could include at least one whole chapter on that alone.

I’ve never heard the phrase “blood from a stone” before this but I swear it captures the essence of our collective reaction to that moment perfectly.

Like, before I even read past “rushing” I automatically knew what clip you were referencing and I can still picture it perfectly because of how much mileage was dragged out of that half second, three framed moment.

I just checked and I can’t even get past one page of my cling tag before there is a post with it. ~memories~

I have considered this option as well! I find her so much more compelling bald, but I think I’m now suddenly very interested in just drawing her a bunch of alternative hair. I keep thinking something with a braid could have gone over well.

Yeah, the best and most sense making I thought it got was the first Delenn-with-hair moment, where it was long on top and curled down one side over the crest, leaving the crest visible on the other side. Why they didn’t stay with that, I don’t know.

YES, and then I think the reason the later hair looks so weird is because you’d seen it the first way, all long on top, and then suddenly it was parted and just zipping off into unfathomable territory in her skull. I love the longer hair on top, and that’s what I’ve drawn in the thing I’m doing now, and probably what I’ll just obstinately keep drawing, canon makeup be damned.
