I’ve really been existing for a really, really long time thinking that everyone thought I was sort of a humorous baby because everything I did was just entwined fingers and/or sass. Like some kind of ‘Oh, there goes Lady again, flailing around in her little subject matter kiddie pool, trying to make something that fools the rest of us into thinking she’s a normal human! She gets away with a lot because what she makes is pretty, but eventually, she’ll have to cave!’ Like, honestly, one of the reasons my G/B art has tapered a lot is that I felt like there was just less response to it, so I figured people got tired of me not making porn and went somewhere else. And granted I was re-inspired by my SWAN things and B5, but still. Like, really, it’s amazing how deeply saturated with this idea I am that everyone is just putting up with me and thinking I’m ridiculous (in a bad way) or wasting what I can do or something. I think maybe you guys will be the first help I’ve had to undo it in the ten or fifteen years I’ve been feeling like this, so wow, I’m so glad.
