Haha, well, I knew it was a Thing, I just laughed when I saw that people named it that. I feel like I support it in a vague sense, but I didn’t find Talia compelling enough to whole-heartedly and actively ship it myself. Like, I don’t disagree with it? I’m not looking for fanwork? But I appreciate that it was a thing and mourn the lost potential.
I like to imagine that if it had been able to go on, Ivanova wouldn’t have been declawed by romance it like so many other 90s ladies, though.
I’m sad about the way Talia’s character was written out. I would have really liked her and Ivanova to interact more. I think it wouldn’t have taken much more for me to be on that train. Or ship, I guess.
(Incidentally, I went to a B5 blog and clicked their tag ‘ships’, and was confused for a moment as to why I was seeing space vessels. Hoo boy.)
