I’m so glad my ten year old self remembered mostly these two about this show, and that I remembered that their relationship was so fucking intriguing.  

and that they were once locked in an elevator together.  my ten year old self had priorities, evidently. people locked in an elevator was the largest scene I remembered from watching DS9 as a kid too. 

incidentally, I once got ‘stuck’ in an elevator when I was a kid and Lost My Fucking Shit about it, so perhaps that’s related

So okay, the worst part about this all is that I was SCREAMING INSIDE to just come home and finish this show, but my friend is just casually knitting in the same room, so I have to fucking contain myself, because, objectively, with no background, she looks over and sees me just unable to can while looking at a sassy lizard-y guy dressed like Xena: Warrior Princess and a middle aged super blinged-out dude who is simultaneously balding and sporting more hair than should be possible have a little snippy flail at each other.  Thank fuck for headphones.

okay, i really like that Londo is straight up telling his own government ‘no, I know Lennier.  this is some solid shit, us blowing things up, what you fucking doing about it’  Like, how cool that he recognizes that Lennier is made of solid integrity.  (life-saving what nots coming into play here, but still, I love that.)

man, it is amazing how twisted up i am getting about this man’s terrible flailing attempts to be a good person and his public persona versus his private one as he snaps at the council and then dictates in a mild political panic at vir when they are not in the room, and g'kar’s classy behavior about the evidence stuff, jeez

and also just straight up Vir because Vir is like tumblr’s cupcake posts, only with the occasional breaking point

i’m watching everyone give all this evidence as Londo sits and reads it in his quarters with Vir and I am just :C

Some days, I just get really excited that I like lots of things.  I look at my own blog, and I’m like, “Yeah, there goes Lady, aggressively loving all this weird shit.  Go Lady.”

There was nothing to do at work today, so I did a lot of doodling and reading fanfiction on my phone, because I am an adult, and one page of my sketchbook features a conversation between two of my original characters, and sitting above them is a foggily remembered G'Kar head and a weird chibi with a note beside them: 

I have to print some reference to take along with me for this guy, evidently.  

Fuck you, G'Kar, it wasn’t supposed to be like this.  Now I’ll have to add you to my list of other genial-yet-terrifying-when-angered lizard-y men that I love.
