it would be easy to modify these with your own flourishes, as I designed them rather spare of many froofy details, so feel free to adjust them as you see fit
These are similar to the ideas I’ve had over the years, so we’re on the same page! Though I think I’m such an organic painter that I’d want something loopy-ish ultimately.
You have the same ideas I do about the X, though. It’s such a good shape, it seems like it ought to be used just sharp like it is. Maybe I should figure out how to get my L or my Y loopy and leave the X, I don’t know.

Day Four of the New Year’s New Start series is SWAN/ISH-verse Edgar and Johnny, who could count as ‘new start’ just by existing, but in this particular case, they’re post-ISH, as evidenced by Johnny’s still-broken arm~ ;)
