Incidentally, the New Year’s things are all watercolor things just like they were for the start of 2013, and I’m trying to work the theme of ‘new start’ into something about each of them, whatever that might mean for the people depicted. (There’s also a lot of bare feet happening for some reason. I’m just rolling with it.)  Some of the new starts won’t be obvious to people who don’t know the contexts/stories behind the characters, but I hope they’re enjoyable when you do.   They’re not large paintings, because I have to function, so they’re just figures, usually floating in amorphous space, but I hope they’ll be enjoyed anyway!

The plan is to do them in the week leading up to New Year’s Day, so I should post seven of them.  It should be no surprise at all that Garak and Bashir will be there (in two different flavors), and I already mentioned that Jeeves and Bertie will be there.  It would surprise zero people to know Edgar and Nny will be involved as well, so I’m not going to pretend they’re shocking or anything.  There could also be a pair of time travellers (of the bowtie and kilt varierty), some space people, and a set or two of terrifying ladies.

If all goes according to plan, you will see a G'Kar (at least! probably accompanied by a Londo) during the week before New Year’s!   I will perhaps make said art with future mug-age in mind~

Have you seen the Day of the Dead episode yet? I think I like it the best out of season 5 (though I haven’t seen a lot of it, since I tend to quit when Byron stuff happens)

I don’t know much about Byron yet, but I feel like I will be the same way because yawn telepaths. I felt it when he showed up that I wouldn’t care, haha.

I am on episode 2.  So probably not.  It was the one with Londo taking a ‘Christmas Carol’-esque tour through his own head while dying and various characters told him to fucking say something. 

I actually loved it because of all the previously posted reasons - the Londo, the Vir, the Lennier, the G'Kar.   I should do a nice portrait of G'Kar like I did with Londo, but mostly I want him draw him in a really cute cartoony style covered in glitter.  He is sunshine and spots. 

I started inking and now Garak looks funny.  Why couldn’t he have looked funny in pencil?

Just them hanging out and being bros and Vir is so fucking respectful and wonderful and Lennier is so fucking sincere layered over quiet badass and I love them. 

This IS season 5, and yes, I sensed something was wrong from the start of the first episode.  I feel like I will maybe pick and choose my accepting of canon here or something.  

But LONDO AND G'KAR AND VIR AND LENNIER ALL DID STUFF IN ONE EPISODE AND IT WAS SIGNIFICANT, I’M GOOD.
