Holy shit I remember this!  Why are the only episodes of anything I remember the ones where people are stuck in elevators???  Was this some weird thing I was obsessed with as a kid?   The only concrete memory of Odo I had was him stuck in the turbo lift with Lwazana and how uncomfortable I felt for him, and now here I’m remembering Londo and G'Kar stuck in this one. The red light, Londo jumping in.  So weird that I remember this.

I think sometimes my lack of a remembering plots of these shows in any detail was that the people I was piggyback watching these shows with liked the big plots and the space fights that I couldn’t follow because I was so young.  The things I liked though, were people stuck in close quarters talking, having character development, having feelings at each other, and I wonder if my dad and grandmother fastforwarded through these emotional moments, thinking THESE would be the things I wouldn’t understand.

It’s a wonder I’m not completely fixated on people stuck in elevators or snowed in cabins as an adult, though, damn.

Oh my god, though, G'Kar just laughing and singing is amazing.

Londo with unconscious Lennier is my new favorite scene in this entire thing holy shit, i could watch this over and over

Londo is like a Dukat that doesn’t horribly suck and that’s really worth watching. At no point are you supposed to forget that Londo is supposed to be a monster, it’s just at the same time, you know the intention was good.

I’m not sure if you mean that he’s less awful as a person than Dukat or that Dukat was somehow not a fantastically done villain, but the former is where I’m sitting.   I don’t perceive Londo as a villian as much as Dukat, and I think that’s how it’s meant to look.   I just like that Londo does things that the viewer can disagree with while you see him suffering with some of his decisions and then kind of aggressively committing to them when he’s panicking or scared.  'The intention was good’ is definitely how he seems to operate, and I think Vir is a really great balance for him, too.  I feel like I’ve seen Vir interact with everyone but Londo recently, though.

I feel like I remember some really vague feelings about Londo and Vir and Londo and G'Kar from when I was a kid.  I can’t wait to remember what they were, haha.   I remember just being really attached to those relationships in some way.   Same way I was attached to Quark and Odo’s relationship, I think.
