I can never see fics of any pairing I want if I try looking for it, like I guess I just don’t get the tagging system

now, now, it’s not that you don’t get it, it’s that it’s shit. 

According to a friend of mine who has used the site more recently than since cat macros were new, they actually finally added the ability to tag your story as involving more than two people.

There used to be this problem that if you selected any two characters, no matter how they related to each other, people were expecting it to be a romantic pairing.  

I just don’t know how that website still functions.

It’s such a train wreck, I spent less than 5 minutes on it and never bothered going back.

This was some wise self-preservation, my friend.   It’s been a train wreck since the dawn of time, I’m pretty sure.   I don’t remember the last time I went there to read anything, I was just trying to collect some shit about the stuff I have up there and it’s just…  The process for submitting things? All the back end log in stuff?  Nightmareish.  

I have some stuff sitting there that I was thinking I wanted to move elsewhere, but they make it so repulsive to even be on the site that it’s hard to want to keep that up.

how is fanfiction.net even still a website

I logged in there a few days ago to try to harvest some info about some old junk I posted and it’s just still the most awkward thing to use

It needs to be just gutted and redesigned from the ground up, holy shit, what a train wreck

Things that are not folding my laundry: 

• -googling myself to see what pictures show up
• -mailing things
• -Photoshop
• -planning out commission posts
• -considering that i haven’t eaten anything yet today
• -playing with google translate

forcing myself to put this laundry away is an exercise in how many things i can come up with to do in order to avoid it
