I got really excited about some of this Grey Council commander’s brain shit when I saw it the other day.  I remember some of this from when I was a kid!  It’s the kind of memory, though, where I know it’s familiar and can go “OH!” when I see it, but I couldn’t recount it to someone now. I don’t know precisely what happened, but I know I’ll recognize it when I see it.   A lot of old kids’ movies are like that for me too. Good times.

I noticed that all the things I really remember about these shows is the really conspicuous heavily made-up aliens. My memories of TOS were pretty much just Spock, TNG was everyone because of how much more my dad watched that than anything else, but they were strongly weighted toward Data and Worf, DS9 it was Odo and Quark, B5 it’s G'Kar, Londo and Delenn.  I don’t know if I just wasn’t old enough to really distinguish all the more obviously human-looking characters in my sporadic dedicated viewings, or if I found these people more identifiable or what.
