Being a DS9 fan is this constant search for little pieces of production knowledge that depress the fuck out of us.

It’s just like, every day I see another post from an excited fan who finds out that something could have been different that would have made the show mind blowing.
And I think the fact that it’s still so damn good and so damn beloved really speaks to its quality, knowing full well the insurmountable amount of missed opportunities the show had.

Trying to figure out exactly what Seto Kaiba knows about Ryou Bakura:
S0/School Arc: They technically go to the same school but Bakura didn’t transfer in until after Kaiba got put in a coma and basically stopped attending, so Kaiba may be unaware of this. Probably doesn’t know him.
DK: He’s another one of Yugi’s dweeby friends who follow him around? God, they’re multiplying. Whatever. Who cares
BC: A duelist! Good enough to make it into the finals, even, possibly worth paying attention to (Jonouchi is also in the finals, though, so maybe not). Still just another of Yugi’s dork friends. For some reason they don’t like him as much as when he’s dueling and all seem kinda mad about it? More occultism nonsense. Now he’s in a coma. Loser. Really didn’t need to deal with this today.
