It's way on the diplomatic/species relations end of things and reminds me a lot of Trek in that sense, however it somehow seems more real. Humans still deal with a lot of the problems that they deal with today, and relations with other species are anything but smooth. It's like the Federation with a hell of a five o'clock shadow in bad need of a coffee, but the characters just SHINE through! also, it's on a SPACE STATION! like DS9!
Oh, I grew up watching Babylon 5 with my dad and my grandmother, that’s been on my list to see again as an adult for a while!

Oh, I didn’t know Terry Nation had made that show. I only knew his name because of the Daleks. I had a friend for a while who was super into Blake’s 7, so I’ve heard of it, at least, and he could probably point me at episodes if I went that route.
Nice to hear about the lady antagonist, I didn’t hear about anyone but men in that show, so I’d written it off. Is it super episodic return to the status quo every week sort, or are there arcs and things?

I have no idea who those people are, but I did obtain Farscape a while back. After Defiance, I am less excited about seeing it than I was. SyFy originals have burned me, haha.

Warehouse 13 is kinda like Indiana Jones meets MIB with very many very cool steampunky gadgets, way way cool show! Best part is that Rene wasn’t the only Trek alumni to guest star! Brent Spiner’s recurring role was one of my personal favs!
Which part of Indiana Jones are we talking here? Like the ‘gruff middle aged white dude goes on racist adventures’ part, or the 'we’re in a temple that was designed by the makers of Lego and/or Hot Wheels?’ bit? I dislike Indiana Jones on the whole, but I think that’s more him and the time his movies were made than … something else? I don’t like action movies, so I guess that contributes to it.
Neat that Trek people show up, though. Every time I see Rene and Brent in things, I’m completely weirded out because they convinced me so hard on DS9 and TNG that I am completely confused when they’re showing another range of emotions. I mean, I do that with a lot of actors because I don’t watch a whole lot, but those two in particular have always been just wild to see anywhere else. So that’s nifty!

Weird that you say that, I just saw that advertised at the end of the Defiance episode I just watched. What is it? Are there aliens?
Are any of the main characters prostitutes? Does every episode end in sex and an indie rock montage?
