I’d never seen her in the original flavor Trill makeup! I’m so used to the spots that she almost looks naked.
I have a page of a DS9 comic where she talks about different Trill and she says something like, ‘Maybe (the original TNG Trill) was from the South and I’m from the North!’ I really like fleshing things out like this, that there are variations among what otherwise are super homogeneous alien races in this series.
I interviewed at a parole office this morning and yeah, definitely don’t want to work there, but it looks like they don’t really want me working there either, so that sort of works out in a ‘well you’re still jobless, but you’re not working directly with random offenders’ kind of way.
I have no other interviews coming up yet, but I do have an art show next month, so I both have tons of time for palette adventures and also don’t. You’ll probably see more art show stuff here than wacky color adventures for a bit. We shall seeee
Today, I am using a friend’s internet (and then later, my brother’s internet) to update ALL THE THINGS (and also get some shows because of things), but you should get a meme or two out of me today, even with the fuck ton of driving I’ll be doing.
queer authors: make all your characters queer. every single one of them. leave no room for alternate cishet interpretations. make straight people uncomfortable. let them cry about how unrealistic it is that no one is cishet. bottle their tears and pour them over your morning pancakes. savor the taste of their discomfort.
