Thank for you the lovely words! The colors thing is such a exercise in intense self monitoring. I won’t tell you it’s so easy as ‘Oh, just try using bolder colors!’ because I fought with it for a long time. My work was so light it could hardly been seen from several paces back for years. If you really force yourself, though, after a painful while, it’ll start being natural and your older work will look too pale!

I think what I really want almost more than anything else in general right now is someone who will sit and have dinner with me and have a real conversation with me about things we really love or care about, instead of some people eating and talking about their work, ignoring my questions or talking in code while I am just present and possessing a plate of food.
