A valiant effort was made to give baby bean bag garak a tunic today, but it is not yet to be. It’s too tight in his armpits and around his entire bottom/hips, but too roomy in the chest and one sleeve is shorter than the other, haha. It also looks a bit long when he’s standing, but fine when he’s sitting, so a belt might be in order to break up the shapes.
The plan I think is just to hack the sleeves off and replace them with roomier black ones, and then do some nonsense on the back with inserting a black panel to help with the tightness and see how it feels from there. I’m fortunate that Cardassian clothes are all panels and color blocks, or the fact that I am winging this would be even more obvious~

Quite good now that you’ve asked! It wasn’t something I thought a lot of people would want to buy, so I haven’t bothered setting up another image format for it except in the one case where the image fit already anyway.
Out of what’s up there already, Especially the Lies Garak and the truth is bent g/b would convert to that format most easily. (And the Andor thing, I suppose!) Rosie!Kira could maybe be done if I re-orient the image horizontally, if that’s your bag. The watercolored DS9 image isn’t large enough to convert to that format. It pretty much fits on a phone and that’s it, haha.
I’ve been having trouble uploading to the site for the last few days, but I’ll get the ‘lies’ Garak and 'truth’ g/b prepped and see if the site behaves for me after midnight! I’ll post here to let you know.
If there’s another image you were hoping for, definitely ask about it! I could do almost anything. I put up things I think would sell and things people request, pretty much! And to impressive effect, really. Baby Bean Bag Garak mugs have to be my second best selling item and I didn’t even consider putting him up until someone requested him.
you can do similar stuff with the vector shape tool in PS, though, and that’s a little easier. Really the only thing I use illustrator for is livetracing things. the people who do whole illustrations in it blow my mind.
Yeah, I don’t have anything specific I want to do with it, just all the jobs I keep seeing offered for people even a little bit art-inclined all want you to have lots of experience with Illustrator, so I’m trying to force it even though it seems to operate completely contrary to my brain.
I know that feel so hard. :( illustrator is the actual worst.
Seriously, I’ve accomplished in an hour what I could do in a minute in pretty much any other medium, and it doesn’t even LOOK that nice. What a cumbersome piece of garbage this program is, holy shit.
I remember doing things with it in school, but even that was after like a solid week of just swearing bitterly at the program before we did anything useful. Like that week of ‘this shit makes no sense and is the opposite of intuitive or elegant’ was built into the curriculum. fucking hell
