Can you imagine Bertie with a smartphone, though?  Taking photos of Jeeves the moment he opens the door, hoping to catch a rare sighting of Jeeves surprised 'on film’.   Taking videos with only consist of Jeeves doing something mundane and Bertie talking like you do to your cat who stopped doing something interesting the moment you began recording.  "You were just doing it! Please?“ "No, sir.”  There’d be videos his friends took, Claude and Eustace’s selfies after they stole the thing for a while (which he puts on Tumblr upon recovery of the phone, captioned as 'Dirty Thieves - Wanted For Crimes Against The Code of The Woosters   Do not approach, and be careful when thinking, in the spirit of familial charity, that you might lend a cousin in need the quick usage of your mobile.’)

I would love Bertie with a tumblr.  It might be interesting to see an AU in which modern technology plugged right along, but the whole serving class thing vanishing did not.  I’d love to see Bertie interact with this technology, but there are few ways to bring Jeeves and his position forward in time with him other than just pretend it still exists or invent some weird 'personal assistant’ or something.
