Shattered is the only appropriate word. I finished the series the day I had to buy groceries. It took me five hours to move from my spot on the couch and stagger to my feet to get food as I clawed at the inside of my skull and my guts twisted up and screamed for some kind of salvation. I bought milk in a fog, I drove in a fog, my performance at work suffered for like two weeks and I lost sleep.
