Man, do you remember how much mileage we got as a fandom out of that one tiny clip of Jamie in, what, The Invasion(?), rushing up to the Doctor, putting his hand on his chest and getting them nose to nose before he rushed off to save the day? Like, we had more screen caps of that than there were frames in the thing. We ran it forwards, backwards, zoomed in, and in slow motion. I was just struck with how blood from a stone we were about that half second clip of footage.

Do I ever. 

If someone wanted to write an informational text about the Two/Jamie fandom they could include at least one whole chapter on that alone. 

I’ve never heard the phrase “blood from a stone” before this but I swear it captures the essence of our collective reaction to that moment perfectly.

Like, before I even read past “rushing” I automatically knew what clip you were referencing and I can still picture it perfectly because of how much mileage was dragged out of that half second, three framed moment.
