also, panels and things properly start this morning and I am extremely jazzed, oh my god

I love coming here and even seeing people I don’t know, but just recognize.  I just turn into vibrating jelly on the inside, like, “Oh, oh! You’re here!  I’m here!  We both made it again, I’m so glad to see you, I hope you do your nice cosplay from last year again!”  I never talk to them, but seeing like this weird convention extended family makes me so fucking happy.

And Frazer goddamn Hines, who is A Gift.

Also met  a woman who will be cosplaying Carmen Sandiego all weekend, and I will be getting photos of her with action figures, she has already agreed to this. 

The tiny Fourth Doctor scarf was made by a friend of mine who is puttting it in the charity auction later, so Londo and G'Kar snuck in under the wire to wear it.  She told me about it and I was nearly jumping up and down.  We went to her room specifically for those photos.   And then Allie muttered the fateful words, “I should get into Babylon 5” and I was real-life Ursula gif at her.
