Do any of you use Patreon?
Two friends of mine have suggested this in the last week and I’m considering trying it out. I’m just trying to figure out what benefits it has over a PayPal “Donate” option, and whether any of the people who currently consume my work (you guys!) use it or enjoy it.

It seems to be particularly popular w/ webcomic artists right now, but might be good if you have a constant stream of content w/ extra perks for backers regardless. Downside: credit cards skim ~4%, Patreon skims 5%. Only get 90% of what people pledge

I donate using patreon to a couple of webcomics. It’s a tiny sum for reasons, but it lets me help support my favorite artists in a way that I can easily budget for b/c I’m not “can I afford this this month, let’s make a randomly sized donation”
