On a serious note though it’s really interesting that Centauri parties like this one and the one in Soul Mates don’t have fancy food, but actually seem to have mostly things like bread and fruit
Also there is literally a table with nothing on it but that candelabra, like, it’s not practical to sit there, nothing else is sitting there with it, no can eat there, it’s just in the middle of a perfectly lit room, burning away. Someone set out that table JUST for putting that candelabra on it.
Maybe this party is like a wedding reception - primarily finger foods with one extremely sparse meal somewhere in the middle of it. I like the idea of this just bread and fruit being a thing, though.
Isn’t real proper fruit sort of hard for them to get on B5? or certain naturally grown foods anyway? Maybe this is Londo showing off that he can afford to fill the party with so much fruit that they make fucking animal sculptures from it.
