I feel you.  I wanted so much to skip a bunch but I was afraid there’d be some sudden important plot coupon revealed in an episode of otherwise boring garbage, so I watched all of them.  I painted through the ones that were mostly PsiCorps and Mars.  

Season 5 I found particularly trying because of my Massive Lack of Give A Fuck about telepaths and PsiCorps. Possibly also Mars. I think there was some Garibaldi shit that I had just checked out on.  There are other things that made me find it trying, but that was the biggest, honestly.  

Don’t care about Mars, don’t care about telepaths, those were my biggest things.  

Londo and G’Kar pretty much held up the entire show for me after a while?  There was a point when I realized I no longer gave substantial shits (if any at all) about anyone else because they were either no longer there, had changed too much, were too new, were perfectly happy and ‘done’ story-wise, or had been given worthless drama in an attempt to make them not ‘done.’   But Londo and G’Kar remain amazing and strong the whole way through.  They seem almost disproportionately strong to me, even.  There were other things I should have been interested in, I guess, but if those things shared an episode with those two, I did not retain any of the other stuff.  They probably blew up whole planets without me internalizing it because Londo and G’Kar were the other plot for that episode.

I wish I could tell you which episodes were garbage and you could skip.  I could look over some summaries and recommend ones to bail on if you reach that point, haha.  I’ve been kind of pruning the ones I watch with Tinsnip because there were some Season 1 experiences I did not wish to have again.  There was one, at some point, about just PsiCorps, and the intro contains Bester saying, ‘Not everything is about Babylon 5′ and that should have been my cue to peace out, because, wow, fuck that, I kind of want that 40 minutes of my life back.
