I don’t know if you’re familiar with a little piece of history called Space Cases spawned from messers Peter David and Bill Mumy. There are a lot of little throw-away references to Babylon 5, and I’ve been toying with a way to incorporate their different alien races into B5 world… specifically the Spung who look like lizards with hair… if only they weren’t green….
Haha, that was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid! I sang the theme song all the fucking time.
I remember mostly the main kids and desperately wanting that rainbow hair and then being surprised when the actress showed up on Firefly, but not really anything else in the way of monsters or aliens or anything. They had some useless adults, a boring human who was supposed to be hip and 90s or something, and the robot lady who I was very fond of, I think. I recall impressive 80s rocker hair from Andromeda(?) with his spiral ears, Uranian with antenna whats it on his forehead (I was fond of that kid), pink girl from Mercury occasionally got pinker, they eventually replaced her with her imaginary friend… Yeah, it was a good damn time. That show was my shit for a long time.
I’m pleased to know it has ties to B5, that’s charming as fuck. I might need to go YouTube the theme song, I’m going to be singing it all evening.
