Oh hey it’s my ex. Wow. I didn’t know it was an ADD thing.
I’ve struggled with this all my life. The thing that helps most is the Sleep With Me podcast. It’s deliberately crafted to be engaging enough to be distracting but inconsequential enough to be easy to doze off to. When I go to bed I queue up enough episodes to last all night so if I wake up during the night (which I usually do at least once or twice) it can lull me back to sleep.
wait … you’re saying this isn’t normal? not everyone has these kinds of problems with falling asleep/staying asleep/waking up? goddamnit….
