Medieval Lady Barbie looks better on the box than in the box.
This is a doll I’ve had since elementary school, so this is her first time out of the box in over 20 years.
I want to do a little bit of refining on her eyes they look so blurry and bizarre and I thought that even as a kid and vastly preferred the picture on the front to the actual thing in the box.
Did a bit of paint correcting and such for Medieval Lady Barbie.
It’s not a drastic repaint, it’s just enough that I don’t feel that nagging dissatisfaction with her that’s been there 20 years.

At least she has a croissant on her head and that does redeem a lot. No idea why they went for blurry as all get out eyes… maybe trying (and failing) to bring to mind period oil paintings?
