Lots of cleaning and rearranging happened today. Like a furniture moving kitchen garbage can hosing kind of cleaning. And also doll relocation and integration.

It’s all a work in progress, so there are still dolls just all the fuck everywhere, but we are getting there

This became my ‘dolls of the world’-ish shelf. Those were my favorites as a kid, and there are still a few more of them in my mother’s basement, but the shelf now prominently features 3 that I have just taken out of the box after 20 some years, so that’s exciting now. Several of them are being obscured so I’ll have to go in later and make a more thoughtful Arrangement so that the maximum number of them can be actually seen but for now they’re good

The top shelf was fully evicted to turn it into a fun shelf. Most of the dolls standing up there now will remain there but no one else is up there right now because I don’t have enough stands.

Below them are still the Goths who could use another shelf of their own or at least a riser. They’re up there casually spilling onto a pile of manga on the left.

And then the filing cabinet is where I banished the Ever After High dolls to. Except for Maddie, she’s somewhere else. They’re hanging out there with the Scary Godmother who almost moved to my bedroom but retained her place after auditioning a few others.

Still other dolls that had been on the top shelf were demoted to floor level bookshelf or seated positions on other shelves.

Bedroom Shelf is very much under construction as well. I’m probably going to need more stands than I bought. Alas.
