So, speaking of an outfit I WOULD actually casually wear out….After work one evening, I went to Target, happened to pass by the (older) kid’s section…. and found the most beautifully tacky (?) shirt ever. It’s by Target’s brand Cat & Jack (and yes…. I do own several things from them. I’m forever miffed they don’t make adult size clothes). I am not a exceptionally petite gal, but I luckily fit in XL in most things they make, so I was able to get this beauty in a size that fit me.
The sequins are the trendy kind that flip between sides, one being and iridescent blue/green, and the other being holographic rainbow.
The legging are from Wal-Mart’s Halloween section and are also in XL. They’re not…. great quality, but they were about $8 and I’ve been wanting mermaid leggings for *years* now.
I have an iridescent headband from Target’s $1 section that matches, a holographic shell purse from Five and Below, and some cute fake nail that match… I actually love this outfit/combo enough that I am actually considering glue the nails onto my hands. I never do that. LOL.
I am resisting the urge to find some not-too-gaudy and not-too-expensive shoes that match……….
and also a wig.
