This week’s pattern is Han-loli, which fuses historic Chinese court fashion with a modern aesthetic.
The result is a pretty cool (and versatile!) style! It uses a flared skirt with an empire waistline for a look you really don’t get anywhere else. There is some ruffle, but it’s minimal so it works great as everyday fashion, too. It’s also a layerable, so you can couple it with other pieces to get different looks without sewing an extra stitch.
And it’s really easy to sew! What’s not to love? Nothing, obviously ;)
