Have you tried Skin Wars?

Yeah, not really my thing.  Too much manufactured reality show bickering, I didn’t find anyone I saw in the season I watched to really be all that talented, haha, and the gratuitous over-sexualized ‘wash off your canvas’ naked woman showers were really gross and pandering.   I winced through every episode.

Fake or Fortune is like, little old lady has a church painting that someone told her 50 years ago was by someone important.  Let’s do science to it and drag up old library records and find out!  Then we’ll present it to some fancy people and see if they approve of our evidence!  If it is, Yay, we’ve saved the honor of some old relative and your family’s historic farm.  And if it’s not, aww, well, we’ll have a gentle sad English moment of, “we tried, thanks, everyone is lovely.”
