Speaking of it like that, maybe ‘do all the doll things you’ve been cautiously approaching For Real This Time’ is a thing I could focus on this year.  (…in addition to trying to make a painting on a regular schedule, apparently.) 

I’ve done some sawing and drilling to facilitate the jointing of the previously un-articulated frankendoll parts on my floor, but I have yet to commit to trying it on a doll I actually like and want to keep rather than a body that was already fucked up in some way and was largely useless anyhow. 

I’ve never made a doll wig, and I’ve never rerooted with yarn.  

Spraypaint!  Dye!  


All these things I’m sure I would have been doing 20 years ago if I’d not been made terrified to touch things.  

I did do a successful foot transplant  like a month ago with Lina, so there’s that at least, haha.
