In news that isn’t completely daily mundane garbage, I did writing on my breaks today~  

Edgar continues to not want to be in this story, the poor bastard.

Things that are spoilers under here, I guess!

Does Edgar want to be friends with Tess?  No, she makes him worry about things he doesn’t like and he never wants to see her ever again.

Does Edgar want to perform?  No, Edgar is worried about Johnny.

Does Edgar want to deal with Banshee?  No, Edgar wants to leave her in a ditch and run for the hills.  

Edgar wants to hide at home/in the van for the foreseeable future.  In the original version of this, he was the one worried about Banshee and willing to lie about Tess.  His inclination to lie about some things is still intact (we have not completely learned our lesson from reSWAN!) because he sees it as a way to protect Johnny from A Bad Time, but he otherwise has no reason to hide having spoken to Tess, and now he actually thinks she’s Bad so he’s very hey guys Let’s Not with everything.

Meanwhile, it’s Jimmy who is in Banshee’s camp now.  Not that he wasn’t before, but having read at least one article on childhood development, he’s aware of some damage that could be done.  

Things are still a bit knotted, but I think they’re coming together.
