and finally -FINaALLY- I feel like I’m seeing my things as mine to do with what I want.  This perhaps sounds a little weird coming from someone who has been repainting shit for however long, but I just a little bit ago was like, ‘what reasoning do I have here for having this thing remain exactly factory other than it simply being factory?’ and I got a large sense of just wanting everything to reflect that it is My Thing

Which is not to say I will cease to have things looking original or even to restore them to that, but when I do I’ll be looking a bit more at why I’m doing it
