Detail of a wall relief from the Tomb of Rekhmire (TT100), vizier of Thutmose III and Amenhotep II. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1450 BC. Sheikh Abd el-Qurna/Valley of the Nobles, West Thebes.
A better title might be ‘Noblewomen attending a banquet in honor of the Vizier Rekhmire’s mother, Bet, with wishes of good health and happiness being spoken (n kA=k ir xrw nfr)’ rather than ‘toilet’, which doesn’t invoke a nice image in English.
