Some local sphinxes I designed.  I like to think about well-known mythological creatures would look like if they’d been thought up by people who had another set of animals to pull from, and I’ve always been really fond of the Sphinx, so I’ve got a jaguar/quetzal from Mexico, a bateleur eagle/cheetah from Zimbabwe, a tiger/kingfisher from India, and a snow leopard/vulture from Tibet.
