Frustrated policeman offers to show gazers filming a motorway accident scene the dead body of the victim
People trying to take pictures or videos of traffic accidents are becoming an increasing problem on German roads. They do not only disrupt the traffic flow even further, but also disturb the privacy of the victims in a highly unethical manner.
A policeman went ballistic, and rightly so, while trying to secure an accident scene on the Autobahn A6 near Nuremberg: He stopped cars from which people were filming or taking photos, offering the occupants to lead them to the scene and show them the dead body. All of them refused and had to pay a fine of 128.50 €. The ploiceman said, if they had just to pay the fine, they would not become aware of the severity and unethical nature of their actions. Only if he was going to show them that this not a children’s game but bitter reality, they would be shocked enough to learn that they are acually doing the wrong thing.
