This job feels like a hybrid of the punishments of Sisyphus and Prometheus
I popped open Wikipedia to look old Sisyphus up because I couldn’t remember all of the things that he had done to deserve his Boulder
And then as I’m scrolling through the article I come across this part that’s like yeah we measure how motivated and productive and willing to work people are based on this sisyphean measurement test and boy people sure will work harder and work better if they believe that their work has meaning and I’m just laughing
