I am fretting deeply, I think now I just take bigger Adopt Cat steps if kitty comes back because I will be Significantly Upset if I lose the kitty.

I’d recommend keeping kitty inside during firework season if you can find them, that’s what dollsahoy used to do before she decided it was time to make the Floof an indoor cat.
