I’ve seen taxidermy that’s more animated and expressive than the animation here.
Why are they so adverse to having the ears be mobile? And look when simba walks - there’s no sinking of weight when he steps, so he’s basically floating. And the feet aren’t moving in a way that a real lion’s feet would. He’s animated more like a dog.
I didn’t even register that they were supposed to be singing, my eyes kept tracking looking for something emoting, some sort of cue, but it looks like someone dubbed the song over limp documentary footage from 30 years ago.
