I don’t know if I’ve posted this yet, but my photo fixing hard mode so far is this tintype photo of my great grandfather, who was born in 1915. Tintypes are just straight up metal, so this is a tiny beat up piece of metal with a very faint baby on It. It is so small and so dark, so it was scanned at fuck huge resolution and I am slowly chugging away at it. Most of what I have to edit from great grandmother’s stash is much cleaner than this, even things that are older.
