If you missed out on your childhood because you were parentified by adults, were closeted and afraid to come out because you thought you’d lose your family, were trying to perform neurotypicality, were physically/sexually/emotionally abused in a way that made it hard to relate to other kids, were relentlessly bullied because you were weird/queer/neurodivergent/poor/a person of color/disabled etc, had to take a job to help support your family, partially raised younger siblings, or if you really like unions congrats you are now my sibling let’s go get smoothies.
