Yes, I KNOW in real life talking won’t always sole my problems, I KNOW in real life the shitty people I’ve met may never become better, I know.
But, is a nice thought, isn’t it? The thought of compassion and love winning. I know violence is necessary but even tho I know that I don’t like the idea of it BEING a necessity, sometimes I wanna just, look away for a bit and think of a world where the best way to be happy and safe is one in which love and truth are the core of it, sometimes I just wanna feel like being kind does solve everything.
Honestly I would never understand the people that expect Steven Universe to be a 1 on 1 reflection on reality instead of the pseudo-pacifist positive escapist story is supposed to be
