every time i see tattoo sleeves like this my first thought is immediately “what if they need an IV later?” like… that can’t be a good idea

getting IV access is not dependent on visuals! you can find a vein more reliably by feel, and if necessary, hospitals can often get somebody with an ultrasound machine to find deeper veins. i’ve had IVs put in through tattoos, and put some in myself. (also, this is fucking gorgeous)
