So … Tina of Dollyhair allegedly posted on the white supremacist board Stormfront.
(Which I think is now defunct–I am not going to google because I do NOT want that in my search history!)
She proposed land developers creating a “whites only neighborhood”, complained about “blacks and Mexicans”, and also complained about Jews. There are screenshots and preserved text.
Velaria@aol.com was Tina’s old email address, which I confirmed by looking at The Wayback Machine to look at old versions of Dollyhair’s website.
You may be wondering why I’m bringing this up now. Basically, it has felt like a burden to know this as I watched people proudly showing off their DollyHair customs. (Nothing against the customizers of course, this is not / was not common knowledge; I stumbled across it at random.)
I know there will always be people who purchase from Tina, in the same way that people will always watch Michael Vicks play football. But at least, if you’ve read this, you know what I know. It’s not just my burden anymore.
